Fashion Photography
Clients and potential models are encouraged to visit the studio for a consultation prior to their photo shoot to discuss details regarding portfolio/model photography. Details including clothing, hair style, make up selection and background, can be finalized prior to their actual photo shoot. Models have the option of being photographed in my commercial photography studio, or elect for on location photography in Ottawa, achieving two distinctively different looks to the imagery. Several studio backdrops are available for clients to make their selection from, however plain paper is usually most effective.
Models have the option of purchasing specially priced studio fashion photography packages which include the shoot and imagery, or purchase images from the shoot on an ‘a la carte’ basis.
The majority of my modelling portfolios (fashion photography) is created utilizing professional black and white photographic materials as opposed to colour. Black and white has clearly defined itself as the industry standard in model composites and publications. Fashion portfolios include high end imagery incorporating diversified posing and lighting techniques. This unquestionably produces a strong, believable marketing tool/portfolio for potential models.
Fashion Photography for Richard Robinson of Ottawa
I had the great pleasure of photographing Richard Robinson on location in his retail establishment, and this portrait is featured on the front cover of my second studio newsletter. (See the newsletter page for a downloadable version).
In addition, in my Ottawa studio I have photographed his primary model wearing one of his top designs for a recorded television appearance (Ottawa Living, program air date: April 15th — 19th 2007.)
